Estimate only. Not financial, investment, tax, retirement, pension, crypto, or legal advice. Returns, rates, fees, taxes, inflation, market prices, product rules, and government schemes can change. Verify with official sources or a qualified professional before relying on results. Crypto prices are highly volatile. This tool does not account for exchange spreads, slippage, network fees, taxes, or regulatory restrictions.
About this calculator
It computes profit as (sell price − buy price) × quantity minus fees, then expresses it as a percentage return on your cost basis. That is the whole of the calculation — the mistakes happen in the inputs. It matters any time money changes value over time — savings, loans, investments, prices and pay all reduce to these relationships. Worked example: Buying 0.5 BTC at 4,000,000 and selling at 5,000,000: profit = 0.5 × (5,000,000 − 4,000,000) = 500,000 (before fees). Use the calculator with your own figures; it runs entirely on your device.

Technical notes
Crypto Profit Calculator computes profit as (sell price − buy price) × quantity minus fees, then expresses it as a percentage return on your cost basis.
Uses the buy price, sell price, quantity and fees you enter; it excludes other charges and taxes.
All arithmetic runs in your browser using double-precision floating point, so extreme inputs may show tiny rounding differences.
Worked example
Buying 0.5 BTC at 4,000,000 and selling at 5,000,000: profit = 0.5 × (5,000,000 − 4,000,000) = 500,000 (before fees).
FAQ
How is the crypto profit calculated?
Profit equals the sell price minus the buy price, multiplied by the quantity, with your total fees then subtracted to give the net result.
Does the Crypto Profit Calculator send my data to a server?
No. The Crypto Profit Calculator runs entirely in your browser with JavaScript; the values you enter never leave your device and nothing is uploaded or saved.
Are exchange fees included?
Yes, if you enter them in the fees field; the tool subtracts that total, though it cannot know spreads or slippage you did not enter.
Does this account for tax on gains?
No. Crypto gains may be taxable in your jurisdiction; this estimate is pre-tax and does not apply any tax treatment.
