Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This is the privacy policy for calctoolsbase.com ("we", "us", "the site"), a free browser-based calculator library operated by Takenick Innovation.

We have tried to write this honestly, in plain language. If anything here is unclear, write to contact@calctoolsbase.com.

1. The short version

  • The numbers you type into our calculators never leave your browser. All math runs locally in JavaScript on your device. We do not see, store, or transmit your inputs.
  • We do collect standard web analytics (which pages were visited, from where, with which browser) through Google Analytics 4.
  • We show advertisements served by Google AdSense. These ads may use cookies to personalise what you see.
  • We do not run our own newsletter, do not have user accounts, and do not sell anyone's data.

2. What we actually do

calctoolsbase is a static website. When you open a calculator page, your browser downloads HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from our servers. From that point on, every calculation — your salary, BMI, loan EMI, tax estimate, time difference, anything else — runs entirely on your device. We never receive the values you type.

The only things our infrastructure ever sees are the same things any web server sees: which URL you opened, your IP address (used briefly to send the page back), and the user-agent string your browser sends. We do not store request bodies, because there aren't any — calculators don't submit forms to us.

3. Analytics — Google Analytics 4

We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-FGYPRWQHQ9) to understand which calculators people use, where visitors come from, and roughly how long they stay. This helps us decide which tools to improve and which content people find genuinely useful.

GA4 collects: page URL, page title, referrer, anonymised device and browser information, approximate location (typically city level, derived from IP), and a randomised client identifier stored as a cookie. It does not receive the values you type into our calculators.

Google's own data practices are governed by Google's privacy policy and your Google account settings. You can opt out of GA tracking by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by using browser-level privacy protections (private mode, tracking-protection settings, ad blockers).

4. Advertising — Google AdSense

We are a Google AdSense publisher (publisher ID ca-pub-7843504931516183). Google AdSense and its partners may serve ads on our pages and use cookies or similar identifiers to:

  • Decide which ads to show you, based on your interests inferred from across the web;
  • Measure ad performance (impressions, clicks);
  • Prevent fraud and abuse of the ad ecosystem.

Google's use of cookies and similar technologies for advertising is described in the Google "How Google uses cookies in advertising" page and in Google's overall Privacy & Terms.

You can control personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. In some regions (EEA, UK, Switzerland) you will additionally see a consent dialog managed by Google's certified consent management platform, allowing you to grant or refuse consent for advertising cookies, personalisation, and similar purposes.

5. Other third-party services we load

To render our pages we load resources from:

  • Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com) — for the typefaces Newsreader, Inter Tight, IBM Plex Mono and Hindi fonts. Google receives a request when fonts are fetched; no personal data beyond standard HTTP request metadata is sent.
  • Google AdSense / DoubleClick — covered in section 4.
  • Google Tag Manager / Analytics (googletagmanager.com, google-analytics.com) — covered in section 3.

6. What about Meta / Facebook ads?

calctoolsbase does not currently load the Meta Pixel, Facebook SDK, or any Meta advertising technology on these pages. If we ever run paid promotion campaigns on Facebook or Instagram pointing visitors to calctoolsbase, those advertising platforms will collect data about your interaction with the ad itself (impressions, clicks) according to Meta's own privacy policies. That data is collected by Meta on their platforms, not by us on this site.

If we ever add a Meta Pixel to this site, this policy will be updated to disclose it before the change goes live.

7. Cookies

See our dedicated Cookie Policy for the full list of cookies and their purposes. In short:

  • We set no first-party cookies for our own purposes (no login, no preferences).
  • Google Analytics may set cookies prefixed _ga on your browser.
  • Google AdSense and ad-tech partners may set advertising cookies (e.g. NID, IDE, __gads).

8. Children

Our site is open to everyone, including students using calculators for homework. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact contact@calctoolsbase.com.

9. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA / similar)

Because we do not store personal information about you on our servers, there is very little for us to delete or export on request — there is no account, no saved input, no history. For data held by Google Analytics or Google AdSense about your activity, please use the controls Google provides at myactivity.google.com and adssettings.google.com.

If you have a specific privacy concern, write to contact@calctoolsbase.com and we will respond.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a way that affects what data is collected or how it is used, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and (for material changes) note them visibly on the site for a reasonable period.
