Disclaimer

calctoolsbase.com provides 354 free, browser-based calculators for general reference and educational purposes. Please read this disclaimer before relying on any output the site produces.
1. Estimates, not authoritative output
Every calculator on this site is a computational reference tool, not an official source. The formulas used are widely-published and standard, but real-world questions — medical, legal, financial, regulatory — often depend on context the site cannot see (your specific country, state, employer, age, health history, contracts, exemptions, latest rule changes).
2. Medical & health calculators
Calculators for BMI, BMR, TDEE, body fat, ideal weight, calories, macros, protein, water, heart rate zones, blood alcohol, medication dosage estimate, pregnancy due date, ovulation, sleep cycles, and similar are educational estimates only.
The medication-dosage-calculator in particular shows a generic mg/kg estimate and is not a prescribing tool. Real dose decisions depend on the specific drug, the patient's age and kidney/liver function, the clinical indication, other medications, and a licensed practitioner's judgement. Never self-medicate based on this output.
The blood-alcohol-calculator is built from the simplified Widmark formula and ignores food intake, drink type, individual metabolism, and medications. Do not use it to decide whether to drive. If you have consumed alcohol, do not drive. When in doubt, wait longer or use a taxi.
3. Tax & salary calculators
Tax calculators (income tax India / US / UK, take-home pay, salary, GST/VAT, HRA, gratuity, EPF, TDS, NPS, property tax, depreciation) use commonly-published rates and slabs for a recent assessment year. They may not reflect your specific filing status, deductions, exemptions, the very latest budget changes, or state/local rules. Always confirm with a qualified tax adviser or your tax authority before filing.
4. Financial calculators
EMI, mortgage, SIP, lumpsum, FD/RD/PPF, CAGR, ROI, NPV, IRR, debt payoff, refinance, retirement, savings, home affordability, loan eligibility, crypto profit, dividend, and similar calculators are projections. They assume the inputs (rate, term, return) will hold exactly for the full period. Real-world returns vary, rates change, fees and taxes apply, and markets are unpredictable. These are not recommendations to invest.
5. Currency converter
Our currency converter uses a static reference exchange-rate table for quick estimates. Real interbank rates change every minute. For payments or transfers, use your bank's quoted rate or a live FX service such as xe.com.
6. Developer tools
Calculators in the developer category (CIDR, password entropy, JSON size, code complexity, regex tester, API response time, base / hex / binary / octal converters, JWT decoder, hash, base64, URL encode) are quick client-side helpers. The hash calculator uses a simple non-cryptographic algorithm — for real SHA-256 use the browser's SubtleCrypto async API or a server-side library. The code-complexity output is a heuristic count of decision keywords, not a substitute for a proper static-analysis tool. The jwt-decoder displays the header and payload but does not cryptographically verify the signature.
7. Shipping & logistics
Shipping-cost calculators give a rough order-of-magnitude estimate. Real shipping rates depend on the carrier, dimensions, fuel surcharges, and the exact origin/destination pair. For actual quotes use carriers directly: Delhivery, BlueDart, India Post, FedEx, DHL, UPS, USPS, etc.
8. Region-dependent calculators
Holiday, payroll, take-home, and income-tax calculators depend on country and year. Where the page provides a country selector, use it. Results without a country selection default to the most commonly searched region.
9. Entertainment / novelty calculators
Love calculators and numerology calculators are for entertainment only. They have no scientific basis.
10. No professional relationship
Using calctoolsbase does not create a doctor-patient, attorney-client, accountant-client, or advisor-client relationship with Takenick Innovation, the site's authors, or anyone else.
